Description:

Spring Branch East is uniquely and conveniently located just outside the 610 Loop and is minutes from Downtown, Memorial Park, The Galleria, The Heights, Memorial Villages and Memorial City Mall. Spring Branch East enjoys ample access to US 290 and I-10. New home construction is occurring at an ever-increasing pace in many of the single-family deed restricted subdivisions especially near Wirt Road and in several gated subdivisions replacing deteriorated apartment complexes. There are industrial, warehouse and retail developments along the northern part of the community near Hempstead Highway and US 290. The former site of the Cameron Iron Works on I-10, on the community’s southern boundary, is now a retail and entertainment complex.

Spring Oaks, Pine Terrace, Ridgecrest, Lynnview, Springdale, Afton Village, Monarch Oaks, Westview Terrace, Craig Woods, and Old Spring Branch

Location:

East of Bingle and primarily between US 290 and I-10, is the oldest part of the larger Spring Branch community

Description:

Single family homes dominate the area, mostly in deed restricted subdivisions such as Spring Shadows. The area currently includes nine apartment complexes located on Centre Park, Kempwood, and Hammerly and one mobile home area on Campbell.

Subdivisions:

Kempwood, Kempwood North, MacGregor West, Spring Branch Valley, Spring Shadows

Location:

North of Interstate 10, in the northwest corner of the Spring Branch community. The boundaries are Clay Road to the north, Campbell Road to the east, Neuens Road and Hammerly to the south and the Sam Houston Parkway on the west

Description:

Single family homes dominate the area, mostly in deed restricted subdivisions which were primarily developed in the late 1950’s and the 1960’s. New single family residential developments have begun to occur in the past five years due to the close proximity of the area to the Memorial City Mall and Medical Center, Town and Country Village, the new City Centre Development as well as the Energy Corridor office market which are located to the south and west of the SN. These developments, along with the new 900,000 SF Memorial Hermann office building located at the intersection of Gessner and Interstate 10, should attract additional single-family redevelopments. The area also includes apartment complexes primarily located on Gessner, Long Point, and Westview Roads.
